Initial Projects

We are focusing our efforts in two areas:

First, working with refugees and asylum seekers in Preston, most recently from Afghanistan, by providing clothing and other essential items as well as a place to meet and a hand of friendship.

Secondly, to provide financial support in two areas in Africa where there is currently little or no other support from NGOs; Maidurguri in Nigeria and the Banyamulenge people in the Congo. In both these areas we have reliable contacts who will ensure that all the funds we send are used directly to help those in need. There are no administration costs.

Maiduguri (Nigeria)

Maidugiri is the capital of Bornu State in Nigeria. It is the epicentre of Boko Haram terrorism.

Asylum Seekers in England

Our work with asylum seekers in England as a record numbers of people risked their lives to reach.

Indian Lowest Cast

Learn about our work to support Indian lowest caste who are subjected to discrimination.

Banyamulenge Genocide

The crisis around Banyamulenge has been going on since 1964 and escalated since 2017.

Humanitarian Crisis of Banyamulenge Ethnic Group

Three Major Aims of WFPF

The members of WFPF have three major aims: – to console those who are suffering hardship through different projects and services – to promote peace – to reconcile people and religions Our Charity firmly intends to do little things with great love and be compassionate to all people in deed and words.

We chose the name because the world needs peace. Peace and unity shape the world. Every nation in its origin had peace as its watchword.

What makes a family what it is? It is peace. Every family has peace as its watchword. Where there is peace, problems will not arise for there will be love and there will be hope. These three things: peace, love and hope are the greatest and most lasting gifts.

Peace is very important. There are problems everywhere because of lack of peace. Peace is all that the world needs. So, there is a need of more promoters of peace and unity. The whole world is in turmoil because of COVID-19. Human crises abound in our modern world.

Our contemporary atmosphere is charged with social discord, poverty, injustice, hatred, violence, religious and ethnic armed conflicts and political oppression. Everyone is awaiting changes and peace. WFPF has been founded to promote peace and to raise awareness that we are all one family in order to live in harmony.

Our Charity defines “peace” as fullness of life which means through of justice and joy. Justice is the satisfying of all human needs of food, drink, clothes, good health, shelter, sense of belonging, physical and spiritual freedom.

Joy is our birthright. The essence of our human existence is joy. We are not on earth merely to survive. We are here also to have joy and to be who we are and thus experience the miracle of life. In our Charity, fear is recognized as enemy number one of peace.

Fear is the root of all the negativity we see in this world. Fear generates tension in people and a feeling of threat from which you must defend yourself.

This way people shut themselves off from others. Our initial projects will start in four countries: Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), India and England. Our Charity will mitigate some of the worst of the suffering in those countries as a way of peace, justice and reconciliation through different projects and services.

The name “World Family” was chosen to invite everyone to go into a common agreement that we are all one family of peace.

The aim of WFPF is to reach out to communities to promote peace and also to promote the integration of families from different religious, ethnic, political, social castes and cultural backgrounds through workshops, conferences, collective actions and differing services.

Families are the bedrock and the building blocks of society. Without peaceful people and peacemakers within families there would be chaos and disharmony in the world.

WFPF embraces, celebrates and promotes diversity by organising events for local, national and international audiences. WFPF has been founded to raise awareness that we are all one family in order to live in a harmony.
